The bilateral cooperation between India and Greece is growing further. The prime Ministers of both countries have had many high-level discussions, and both leaders have shown their commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships.
Both countries are enhancing their military ties with high-level military exchanges and military exercises. In April 2024, a Military Cooperation Roadmap was signed during the visit of General Dimitris Houpis, the Chief of the General Staff of the Greek Armed Forces. Military cooperation between both countries can grow further as they explore opportunities for co-development and co-production in defense manufacturing. The strengthening of military ties is seen as the Hellenic Airforce participated for the first time in the second phase of Exercise Tarang Shakti in August 2024.
Both countries are enhancing their bilateral relations and becoming strategic allies by reshaping their defense strategies, which are focused on shared interests and fostering geopolitical alignment.
